INTRODUCTION

We are Team Praxis Fusion from Bhaktivedanta Gurukul & International School’ Mathura. We are dedicated to learning and spreading the knowledge of STEM. We also do community services by spreading knowledge of STEM in villages and to different schools. We mix the knowledge of Indian Vedic culture with STEM and that makes our team a unique one.

Acquiring New Members

  1. Advertising: Make flyers and posters to spread the word about FTC.
  2. Lab Tours: Show interestedstudents around the robotics lab every Sunday.
  3. Application Process: Collect forms from students who want to join.
  4. Screening & Testing: Check their skills in robotics, coding, designing, and marketing.
  5. Selection: Pick the best students based on the test.
  6. Sustainability: Bringing in new members helps the existing team continue its work, pass on knowledge, and keep improving even as older members leave.

Chassis

The chassis was initially constructed using two 17-hole U-channels for length and two 11-hole U-channels for width. However, after measuring, it was found to be wider than desired. To address this, the 11-hole U-channels were replaced with 10-hole ones, making the design more compact.


  • The chassis does not include any 3D-printed parts. 
  • Four REV Robotics Ultra Planetary motors are placed within the 17-hole U-channels.
  • Mecanum wheels are attached to these motors using a bevel gear arrangement, which converts Y-axis motion into X-axis motion for efficient power transmission.
This setup ensures smooth and precise movement, eliminating concerns about movement limitations. The omnidirectional mobility provided by the Mecanum wheels enhances gameplay flexibility, allowing specimens to be fixed onto rungs and samples to be placed into the basket with ease.
